Tooth Fairies Have Taken Second Jobs

Enrique is a tooth fairy by night,
but daylights as the mango man.
Like so many other fairies,
he is now only collecting baby teeth.

The great war against tooth decay,
Crest, Colgate, Aim,
and the vanity of a generation has filled him with rage.

It used to be, that he would collect molars,
pitted treasures of abscess.
He would rise from the abyss,
rise through the floorboards,
rise,
rise,
and then “WHAMO”

another molar to add to the great mountain
he slumbers upon. Sometimes, he would even reach in,
at night, and take the loose teeth
from the mouths of sleeping donors.
His delicate hands are perfect for it.

But now, he spends his days with a knife,
with a lust for the molars of customers in his eyes,
being the daytime mango man,
and disgruntled at night.
